India and Pakistan have fought three wars over the region, and there continue to be regular skirmishes between soldiers of the two countries there. Moreover, the conflict has led to thousands of deaths and many alleged human rights violations. In this episode, we delve into the root cause of the conflict and go over key events that are often overlooked in media coverage of Kashmir.
